Summer All Year Round

I was in Malacca yesterday. The weather there seems to be hot and humid all year round. So what do you wear when you are in a place with summer all year round? I was practically sweating the moment I stepped out of air conditioned place. So here are some suggestions for those of you who will be heading there.

Keep yourself cool in a simple summer dress. Smocked tube dress is good, with soft flowy material. This works as a skirt too. 2-in-1, change your style whenever you want. Worth the price huh!

What about a tube top? This piece comes with a pretty ribbon to tie at your waist. Pair this with a pair of shorts. Candy coloured shorts are in style now. Get the brightest pink or yellow to colour up your day. Or if you are less adventurous, a white pair of shorts will do too!

Thanks to PrincessBB for posting us a question. We do have quite a number of dresses with sleeves.

Dress and look like a princess. Comes in sweet pink and other sweet pastel colours. Lace at the square collar both front and back, and also at the hem. Material is also light and flowy, making you feel free and still elegant.

If you want something fashionable and yet look a formal, here is a good choice. The model's height is 169cm, so it may look a bit short on the model but for height of 160cm, it will fit perfectly fine, with the bottom hem resting right on the knees.

3/4 sleeves dress with ruffles at the neck line. Gives you a professional look to wear to work.

Or if you prefer a more casual look, here's one with pretty ruffles and ribbon at the chest area.

Here's a quite cute balloon dress. Available in a few colours, but you will look pure and cute in this white one.

Black goes well with red too. Best thing is, this dress comes with the belt attached.

I honestly love dresses! I even had guy friends commenting that girls will always look sweet and pretty when they wear dresses. More ladies are wearing dresses nowadays. It's becoming a quite common scene to see here. Dresses are becoming more affordable compared to last time when we had to fork out more than RM100 to get a decent looking dress.

Here are a few that I really like.

Love polka dots? Bored with white and black dots? Here's an orange one to brighten up your look.

Dreaming of stars. Colourful stars, with satin lining at the hem for elegance.

Summer time~~~ try this halter neck printed cotton dress. The halter is made out of wooden beads.

A cotton overall for a hot day. Look cool and casual in this piece. Pair it with your favourite white singlet or t-shirt.

Going to the beach? Wear this green smocked halter neck tube dress. You can even wear this as a skirt over your swimsuit.

Dinner time. No more boring black gowns. Try this turquoise plunging V-neck chiffon dress. Lace hem at the bottom for the sweet and pretty look.

Ok ok... black and white is not too bad too. This one comes with a detachable coat. Wear this to work or dinners.
