Summer All Year Round

I was in Malacca yesterday. The weather there seems to be hot and humid all year round. So what do you wear when you are in a place with summer all year round? I was practically sweating the moment I stepped out of air conditioned place. So here are some suggestions for those of you who will be heading there.
